The police officer Shigemitsu Hashiba is a funny man. He never seems to take anything seriously. But this attitude is just a mask that prevents him from being truly known by others.


All this will change when he is assigned as a partner to Keiji Sasaki, a diligent and too serious rookie.


The two form a perfect combination and their goal is to arrest Mr Sawada.

Kagurai Yuki belongs to a secret government unit that investigates incidents which involve any supernatural or psychic connections. The unit consists of 5 agents, all of whom have psychic powers themselves, and are overseen by their female boss.


The stories mostly consist of case file stories, but there is also an underlying arc that deals with Yuki, his mother, and Yuki's ever growing psychic powers.
