Everyday things make up the fabric of life whether its making friends, going to school, trying to make money, or celebrating a holiday. Ichigo Mashimaro is a heartwarming series that follows the daily lives of Itoh Chika, her sister Nobue, and her friends Miu, Matsuri, and Ana.

The first five volumes of Ichigo Mashimaro were published in English as Strawberry Marshmallow by Tokyopop from July 11, 2006 to June 8, 2008 before release was discontinued.

A series of "bishōjo"-centered manga booklets that were released weekly for a short time in Japan.


The manga would come packaged with a limited edition plastic-figure assembly kit, designed by Ohshima Yuki, of the featured character of the week:

There is a conspicuous absence of the brothers (oniichan) of the title, as only the little girls are 'portrayed.
